their possession of the subject property.
Finally, on the issue of
possession, suffice it to say that We find that to be a question of fact, and thus, it is the trial court that is in the best
position to evaluate whether the evidence presented by the respondents is
sufficient to prove their claim of possession since 1948. We find no reversible
error in the CA's affirmance of the RTC's
reliance on the tax declarations presented by the respondents.
